NorthGlass developed China’ s first Bending & Tempering Furnace with rollers.
2005
The holding subsidiary, Shanghai North Glass Technology Industrial Co., Ltd., was established.
2004
NorthGlass introduced the “Super Flat & Spotless” next-generation tempering furnace, revolutionizing the industry by eliminating severe stress spots and deformation, and setting a new standard in the global glass tempering market.
2008
NorthGlass founded the wholly-owned subsidiary Shanghai North Glass Coating Technology Industrial Co., Ltd., launching its self-developed Low-E coating line into commercial production, filling a critical gap in the domestic market for commercial coating lines.
2007
The holding subsidiary Luoyang NorthGlass Taixin Fan Technology Co., Ltd. was established, expanding NorthGlass’ s product range into the fan industry.
2010
NorthGlass successfully developed the tempering furnace which tempers the glass up to 18 meters in height and 3.6 meters in arc length, setting a new global standard in glass tempering technology.
2009
NorthGlass began its collaboration with Apple, providing high-quality architectural glass for their Apple Store in Shanghai. This partnership has since expanded to over 100 Apple Stores worldwide.

2012
Tianjin NorthGlass Industrial Technical Co., Ltd. was founded with a total invest - ment of 500 million Chinese yuan, quickly becoming one of the leading suppliers of architectural glass worldwide.
2011
NorthGlass went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under the name “NorthGlass Corp.” with the stock code 002613.
2015
NorthGlass celebrated its 20th anniversary and launched a new logo.
In the same year, NorthGlass established Shanghai North Glass Automation Technology Co., Ltd., opening a new chapter in Industry 4.0 for the glass deep-processing industry in China.
2014
Tianjin NorthGlass signed an agreement with Apple Inc. to provide specialty structural glass for its headquarters construction project.
2017
“NorthGlass” was recognized as a nationally renowned brand.
2016
NorthGlass integrated the advanced Tri-turbo concept into centrifugal fan design, and supplied cooling fans for China’s Fuxing high-speed trains, adhering to national standards.
2020
NorthGlass signed a contract to build a 510-acre high-end equipment industrial park in the Luoxin Industrial Area.
Luoyang NorthGlass Taixin Fan Technology Co., Ltd. was renamed Luoyang NorthGlass Triturbo Fan Technology Co., Ltd., marking the company’ s full transition into the era of tri-flow fans.
2019
Light Stone factory in Ruyang was completed and put into operation, bringing NorthGlass light stone curtain walls to the market.
2022
NorthGlass unveiled a 23-meter glass panel, reaffirming its status as an industry leader in “super glass.”
2021
Luoyang NorthGlass LightStone technology R&D center, that is, the model project of lightweight microcrystal stone SiNest curtain wall, was officially completed, expanding into high-end equipment, deep-processing glass, and unitized curtain wall industries while accelerating digital transformation and product upgrades.
2023
The Processed Glass BU was established, bringing together research and production capabilities from the Tianjin, Shanghai, and Luoyang bases to enhance the brand’ s impact while consolidating resources to provide superior services to customers.
